What is a serviced apartment in Moscow?

A Moscow serviced apartment is a quality apartment offered for short-term and medium-term rental in central Moscow by a professional real estate company. Each short-term apartment in Moscow offered by our company is carefully selected in terms of secure location and convenience to ensure our guests’ maximum comfort and safety.

The apartments are called "serviced" because they are cleaned, maintained and managed for you just as a hotel room would be. At the same time, a serviced apartment provides you with all the facilities you need to make you feel at home, like a living room, a bedroom(s), a bathroom and a kitchen.

What can I expect from a serviced apartment in Moscow?

A serviced apartment in Moscow features a living room, bedroom(s), a bathroom and a kitchen. All apartments are fully furnished. Bathrooms comprise a bathtub/shower cabin, a toilet and a sink. The kitchen is equipped with cupboards, a refrigerator, an oven, sink, microwave oven, an electric kettle and a toaster, as well as dishes, pots and pans, cutlery and cooking utensils. The apartment is cared for by our in-house maintenance department and is fitted with a telephone line, plus the following appliances: satellite television, a VCR, a stereo system, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer and a vacuum cleaner. The following services are included in the rent: 24-hour property maintenance, maid service three times a week, weekly change of bed linen and towels, bottled water, a survival manual with information about the apartment and nearby shops and restaurants, etc. Laundry and ironing services are available for an additional fee.

What is the minimum and maximum length of stay for Moscow short-term apartments?

There is no maximum or minimum length of stay in an Intermark serviced apartment. You can stay for as short as a couple of nights or as long as one year.

How far in advance should a serviced apartment be booked?

Due to the increasing popularity of serviced apartments in Moscow, the demand is high, especially during peak seasons. We advise you to make a reservation as early as one month in advance or as soon as you know your arrival/departure dates. We will certainly try to help you with last-minute reservations, but be advised that our apartments may be fully booked.

An important comment: We are a short-term rental service. However, many of our clients stay for 1-3 months or longer. To accommodate out guests, we do not make short-term reservations earlier that 1 month before arrival. For instance, we generally would not make a 5-night reservation 2 months prior to your arrival date so as not to hinder a possible longer reservation. Therefore, we suggest you apply for a short-term reservation (up to 1 week) 2-3 weeks before your planned arrival. Thank you for understanding.

How do I make a reservation for a serviced apartment in Moscow, Russia?


The process is as follows:


1) Fill out an online request form to check the availability of an apartment for your chosen dates.
2) We will then promptly process your request and if the apartment is available: a) companies will be asked to sign a lease agreement; b) individuals will be asked for a pre-payment.
3) After this has been done, the apartment will be reserved and a time will be set to meet in the apartment on your arrival date (if necessary).

Usually one of our representatives meets a new guest in his or her serviced apartment to welcome them, hand over the apartment keys and answer any last-minute questions.



After you have submitted an online reservation request form, we will confirm the availability of the requested apartment by e-mail or by phone within 24 hours (usually much more quickly), except for forms submitted Friday afternoon, Saturdays and Sundays. Forms submitted on those days are processed Monday morning.

How do I pay for the reservation of a corporate apartment in Moscow?

We accept the following credit cards (except Electron versions):

  • Visa International
  • MasterCard/EuroCard (except Maestro)
  • JCB International
  • STB-Card
  • American Express

If your card has the words "electronic use only" or "Electron" on it, we cannot accept payments from your card.

In order to receive your credit card payment (via mail order):

1. We require that you fax us a reservation request form signed by you and stating that you would like to pay by credit card for your serviced apartment and that you agree to our cancellation policy.

2. In addition, we require you either to e-mail a scan of both sides of your credit card or fax us a clear, readable photocopy of the card. This is a security measure required by the company.

Do I have to pay any commission to Intermark for renting a serviced apartment?

No. All Moscow serviced apartments on this site are exclusively managed and marketed by Intermark Serviced Apartments, LLC and we do not charge any fee or commission on top of the published rates.

How do I cancel my reservation of short-term accommodation in Moscow?

If you have not moved into an apartment yet, you are entitled to receive a full refund on your pre-payment if you cancel the reservation 20 calendar days prior to the arrival date stated on your reservation form. Should the reservation be cancelled less than 20 calendar days before the arrival date, we shall refund only the period from the termination date and beyond.

If you have already moved-in the apartment, you can give a termination notice 20 calendar days prior to the desired termination date. We shall refund your pre-payment from the termination date and beyond. If you stay less than 20 days, you are not entitled to a refund.

How do I change my reservation for short-term rent in Moscow?

Do I pay any extras (like taxes, services, utilities)?

There are no hidden costs -- our rates for Moscow temporary accommodation include service and utility costs like electricity, gas, water, heating and charges for satellite television (a basic package from Kosmos-TV). As for taxes, all rates are given before VAT. VAT is applicable to Russian companies and foreign companies that do not have an accredited branch or representative office in Russia. However, VAT is not applicable in many cases according to Russian legislation. For example, VAT is not applicable to foreign citizens and accredited representative offices from Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, the U.S., the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, India and many other countries. Our reservations managers will inform you at the time of making the reservation, whether VAT is applicable in your case or not.

Do ISA pet friendly accommodation?


Intermark Serviced Apartments is a pet friendly hotel. But we have to make the rules for our clients. For staying less then 30 days we take Deposit by cash (or bye Payment form) 25 000 Russian Rubles, plus 500 Russian rubles per day. For staying more than 30 days we take just Deposit.
